Pharrell is a genius. This is one of my favorite songs from his “In My Mind” album from 2006. I was trying to find out where he sampled it from if he did but I couldn’t.
It reminds me of this one video game for Nintendo 64 about airplanes and helicopters and hang gliders. The soundtrack for it seemed like it was too mature for the people it was sold to; it was full of jazz and smooth songs, you probably could’ve fallen asleep playing the game. It was called “Pilotwings 64″. It was a pretty simple sandbox style game, that’s why I liked it so much plus it was just a fun game. Check it out if you still have N64. I miss my Xbox.
